This policy explains what data the Mimiq mobile game collects, why it is collected, and what happens to it. By using the app you agree to this policy.

In short: No account is required. We never ask for your name, email address or phone number. Only the nickname you choose and your score are sent to our server. You can delete your data from inside the app at any time.

1. Data we collect

a) Stored only on your device

The following stays in your device's local storage and is never sent to us:

Game settings (sound, vibration, language, accessibility options)
Your statistics (games and rounds played, accuracy)
The ad frequency counter

b) Sent to our server (leaderboard)

Data	Purpose
Anonymous user ID	To associate your score with you. Randomly generated and not linked to your identity.
Your nickname	Shown on the leaderboard. You choose it and can change it at any time.
Your best score and level	To rank you on the leaderboard.

This data is stored on infrastructure provided by Supabase Inc. The leaderboard is public: the nickname you choose and your score are visible to other players. For that reason we recommend not using your real name or any identifying information as a nickname.

c) Collected by our advertising provider

The app shows ads through Google AdMob. Google may collect the following to serve and measure ads:

Device advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID)
Approximate location derived from IP address (country/city level)
Device model and operating system version
Ad interaction data

This data is processed directly by Google; we have no access to it. See the Google Privacy Policy for details.

2. Data we do not collect

Name, email address, phone number
Precise location (GPS)
Contacts, photos, files or other app data
Microphone or camera recordings
Payment information (there are no in-app purchases)

3. Consent (European users)

Users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are shown a consent screen for personalised advertising. You can review or withdraw your consent at any time under Settings → Privacy → Ad preferences.

4. How to delete your data

The app provides Settings → Data → Delete my data. This will:

Erase all statistics, records and your nickname from the device,
Permanently delete your leaderboard entry from the server,
Invalidate your anonymous identifier.

This cannot be undone. Uninstalling the app removes all local data, but does not delete your server entry — use the option above for that.

5. Data retention

Your leaderboard entry is kept until you delete it. We may periodically remove anonymous records that have been inactive for a long time.

6. Children's privacy

Mimiq is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from users under 13. If you believe your child has submitted data, contact us at the address below and we will delete the record.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR and Turkish data protection law (KVKK) you have the right to access, correct and delete your data, and to object to its processing. You can exercise your deletion right directly in the app. For other requests, write to us.

8. Changes

This policy may be updated. When a significant change is made, the "Last updated" date on this page will change.
